Zalika

Inspired by the human experience and nature, her artistry is atmospheric, choral, and deeply vulnerable.
Zalika began her musical journey as a clarinetist in her school orchestra before going on to co-form the girl group VidaJane with college friends. Together they released the single "Breathe, Release" receiving radio airplay.
Over time, Zalika established herself as a singer, recording with a wide range of mainstream artists, most notably the London Community Gospel Choir, as well as Kylie Minogue and Tom Odell at the renowned Abbey Road Studios.
Her live performances as a backing vocalist have included touring with Ellie Goulding, with memorable shows at Red Rocks, Coachella, and Madison Square Garden; an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show with Leona Lewis; performances on Michael Bublé World Tour; and numerous appearances at the iconic Glastonbury Festival alongside artists such as Kasabian, Spiritualized, Wizkid, and Popcaan. She has also performed at the Oslo Jazz Festival and Saint Lucia Jazz Festival, and made her musical theatre debut in Jimmy Cliff's The Harder They Come, touring the US and Canada.
In 2023, now a Grade 8 flautist, Zalika played flute on Alicia Keys' "If I Ain't Got You" for Netflix's Queen Charlotte orchestra.
